The advantage of Kalibre Boru is that it does not produce standard tubes in its lines, but prefers to produce tubes with high added value and more difficult to manufacture. Thus, it makes a difference in the production of welded precision steel tubes.
The cold drawn process is applied to ensure very precise tolerances, to increase surface quality, and to increase formability properties. There are 2 types of materials used in this process: Welded and seamless steel tubes.
Welded mother tubes to be used in cold drawing are produced in welding lines in line with the specifications required in customer requests and prepared for the cold drawing process after passing the necessary tests. Seamless tubes are supplied from Europe’s leading seamless tube manufacturers in line with the required specifications.
The cold drawn process is carried out after the mother tubes are heat-treated and the necessary surface preparation processes are made. This process can be repeated several times in order to reach the necessary technical features. If necessary, the tubes are subjected to a final heat treatment.
