Ø Tubes for Shock Absorbers
Shock absorber tubes used in automotive industry are produced by ensuring the required quality and mechanical conditions and special surface roughness parameters. Dust Tubes, Reserve Tubes and Pressure Cylinder Tubes are produced in Kalibre Boru with 100% control.
Ø Gas Spring Bodies
Like cylinder tubes, gas spring bodies are manufactured from welded tubes. The materials are carefully chosen for swaging and cold deformation.
Ø Tubes for Cardan Shafts
The tubes for cardan shafts are produced from hot rolled strips and they are welded.
The welding area is controlled by 100% Eddy-Current and ultrasonic methods during the manufacturing process. After inside and outside flash removal, the tubes can be normalized/stress relief annealed if required and finally they may be subjected to cold drawing process to acquired mechanical and dimensional values.
According to customer requirements also various types of agricultural shafts are produced.

•Quadrangular shafts
•Other special shapes (i.e. positive and negative lemon)
In manufacturing cardan shaft tubes to improve the performance an to prevent twisting St 52 material grade is used.
Ø Tubes for Vehicle Rods
In manufacturing of rod tubes St 52 seamless tubes are used. Following cold drawing process the tubes are normalized or stress relief annealed under controlled atmosphere in order to ensure the required mechanical parameters.
Kalibre Boru provides the certified hollows from well known and reliable manufacturers in order to have better traceability and consistency.
Since vehicle rods are the safety related parts, the microstructures and grain sizes are inspected precisely in metallographic microscope after normalization under controlled atmosphere.
Ø Tubes for Bushings and Vibration Absorption Equipment
Besides automotive industry, Kalibre Boru manufactures these tubes also for different industries. They are also called "calibrated tubes". These tubes have special inside, outside diameter and length tolerances. The tubes can be also supplied in cut to length and chamfered with precise length tolerances. Kalibre Boru meets experienced personnel and high technology machines.
